Microsoft Windows operating system comes with more than one display language in PC, in latest Windows 10, the system set with default language which languages are been used to display text in wizards, dialog boxes, menus, Help and Support topics, and other objects in the user interface (UI). Other than default language, Windows 10 also allow to settings the language for single accounts through the Settings app.

- First, press the Windows key + I keyboard shortcut to launch the Settings app.
- Next, click on Time & language and then choose Region & language by clicking it.
- Under the Languages option, you should notice “Add a language” options. Click on it and choose the language that user prefer to add, and select the specific variation if applicable.
- Once add the language, select the new language that added, and click Options and download any language packs that necessary.
- Next, click Set as default and select your location under Country or region to enable operating system provide your local content.
- After done, click Windows key + X keyboard shortcut to launch the Power User menu and select Control Panel.
- Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Language.
- Then select on the Advanced settings in the left pane.
- Click the “Apply language settings to the Welcome screen, system accounts, and new user accounts” in blue colour word.
- Screen will forward to next page where you can see the Administrative tab under Region.
- On the “Welcome screen and new user accounts”, click the “Copy settings” button.
- Tick on the Welcome screen and system accounts, and New user accounts options and then click OK button to complete settings.
- Reboot or Restart PC, upon reboot you should see the new add language set on entire operating system.
Note: if user login with a Microsoft Account, this trick will sync across all devices. If user only want to change settings on single particular computer, just go to Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings and turn off the Language preferences option.

How to deploy Windows 10 feature packs using Patch management?
As you know, Microsoft's Windows 10 version updates are released as feature packs. Deploying few feature packs are tricky as dependency files (ISO files) are required. For successful deployment, we recommend downloading the respective dependency file (ISO file) from the vendor's site and and upload it to the patch store using the upload patches option or manually place the ISO file in the patch store before deployment. .
Before deployment, run through the Compatibility Check available under the Important Notes section to find if you meet all the minimum requirements that impact upgradeability. This document will provide you with the steps to manage Windows 10 version 1803 Spring Creators Update using Patch Manager Plus.
To deploy Windows 10 feature packs, follow the below steps.
- Add the dependency patch (ISO file) to the Patch store.
- Deploy the feature pack as configuration.
To add ISO file to the patch store
You can add the dependency file (ISO file) either through the upload patches option or by manually placing it in the patch store.
Follow the steps given below to add the respective ISO file to the patch store using upload patches option:
(Note: This option is only available for the build 10.0.282 and above.)
- Download Windows 10 ISO file from Volume Licensing Service Center or from here.
- Navigate to Patches>Downloaded patches>upload patches.
- Select the filter 'Missing patches in the network'. This will list all the missing patches in the network which can't be downloaded through the console.
- Select Windows 10 version 1803 spring creators update and click upload button available under actions.
- Now navigate to the downloaded ISO file and select the file.
- Click upload to successfully upload the ISO file to the patch store.
Follow the steps given below to manually add the respective ISO file to the patch store:
- Download Windows 10 ISO file from Volume Licensing Service Center or from here.
- Rename 32 bit ISO file as 105608-Win10_1803_enx32 (Ensure file is saved with extension .iso).
- Rename 64 bit ISO file as 105610-Win10_1803_enx64 (Ensure file is saved with extension .iso).
- Patch Manager Plus supports the deployment of feature packs for multiple languages.
- Navigate to patch store location: Patch Management -> Cleanup Settings and copy the downloaded iso file manually into the Store directory and rename the files accordingly.
Note - To deploy Win 10 feature packs in more than one language, check the respective ISO files for each language, download and place them in the patch store.
In order to identify the ISO files required (for different languages) for your machines, navigate to Patches -> Download Patches. Apply filter for Download failed patches view. In this view, you can find all the languages for which ISO files have to be downloaded. Refer to the screenshot below for better understanding.
To find patch store location: Navigate to Patch Management -> Downloaded Patches -> Settings.
To deploy the feature pack
- Create a configuration
- After following the above steps, you can create a configuration from the missing patches(Patch ID: 105609 and 105611 for 32 and 64-bit respectivey) and deploy it.
- If the configuration that you created before following the above steps failed, make sure to repeat the same and redeploy the configuration.
- Automated Patch Deployment(APD):
- To create an APD task for deploying feature packs, make sure to select the feature pack check box while defining the patch task.
- Once the dependency patch is downloaded and stored in the Patch Store, 'Feature Packs' will be successfully deployed to the target computers during the subsequent deployment window. A separate configuration can be created for the particular patch on demand.
